Linda gets a job in a post office, but her tall tales soon raise suspicions.

A confident and attractive woman takes on the challenge of her life. Energetic and resourceful, she ensures that her bankrupt husband is freed from his debts; at the same time, she realizes her dream of making her first film.

A boy and girl find true love for each other and escape from boredom and crime.

Two couples, friends for a long time, decide to go away together. Things soon take a turn for the worse when Linda and Jeff spend far too much time together instead of with their respective spouses, Paul and Stella.

Gloria Steinem's text from her book "Revolution from Within" inspired this manifesto. Linda is my mother's first name. I wanted to honor both. For all the other women. Those we aim to embody, those we aspire to become, and those we once were.

Linda Darnell had the looks and talent to be a great Hollywood leading lady, but never quite delivered on her potential. This is the story of her rather sad life and tragically early death.

Linda's a Manchester girl, born and bred. She's in her early 30s and the friends she has now are the same friends she's had since primary school. By day she potters around in Craven Lane Motors selling cars and flirting with mechanics. But when night time comes around she can usually be found singing her heart out on stage at the Lee Lane Social Club. Her best friend Michelle may be settled and happy with her boyfriend and kids, but Linda's single and loving it. She may not have found Mr Right just yet, but she's having a whale of a time while she's looking.
